Over the years, CDL has developed many iconic projects that shaped Singapore’s skyline and landscape. As Singapore celebrates National Day this August, City News takes a look at the unique residential projects CDL has launched on the red dot in the past few months.
The 190-unit luxury South Beach Residences, developed by CDL and IOI Properties Group Berhad, beholds one the most mesmerising views of the sea, Marina Bay, and city skyline, by day and by night. This integrated development in the heart of the city is one of Singapore’s most coveted addresses.
Located in the East Coast area, Amber Park is a luxury condominium development by CDL and joint venture partner Hong Realty (Private) Limited. It was the bestselling freehold project launch for 2019, with 77% of the 150 released units snapped up over its launch weekend in May. Since then, the 592-unit Amber Park has sold a total of 171 units at an average selling price (ASP) of over S$2,450 per square foot (psf).*
Just as the former Amber Park, with its distinctive teacup-shaped balconies, was developed by CDL more than 30 years ago, CDL is now introducing a new icon for luxury East Coast living at the same site. Amber Park is designed by Chan Soo Khian, the award-winning principal architect of SCDA Architects. One of the tallest developments in the area, Amber Park’s most distinctive feature is The Stratosphere, a rooftop recreational deck. The Stratosphere is a first for a condominium in Singapore: Sitting at 235 ft above sea level, it commands an unmatched panoramic view of the East Coast. The space will include a 600-metre-long sky jogging track, a yoga deck, water features, a gymnasium, a spa pool, gourmet dining, a lounge, and a landscaped garden.

Like Amber Park, the ultra-high-end Boulevard 88 has achieved strong sales. The only brand-new freehold residential development along the prime District 10, Boulevard 88 reached S$160 million in sales in March within less than two weeks of exclusive private previews. The 154-unit Boulevard 88 has since sold a total of 73 units, including all four penthouses, achieving an ASP of over S$3,800 psf.*
Designed by the world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, Boulevard 88 has a stunning architecture design. Comprising two 28-storey residential towers, Boulevard 88 is connected at the top by a Sky Boulevard, creating a tall ‘urban window’ and an striking skyline silhouette that is visible from the city’s surroundings.
Integrated with the first EDITION hotel in Singapore, Boulevard 88 has six basement car park levels with 322 lots. As Singapore progresses with its car-lite ambitions, such generous provisions for car owners will be increasingly rare in new private developments.

Among Haus on Handy’s over 30 facilities is a unique heritage bungalow, Club Haus. As the first and likely the only Executive Condominium launch in 2019, it came as little surprise when Piermont Grand became the best-selling property launch of the year. 388 units (46%) of 820 units were snapped up during its launch weekend, at an ASP of $1,080 psf. Since then, a total of 388 units have been sold.*
